Old Lyme Board of Selectmen

Special Meeting
The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 7:30 AM on Friday, 6 July 2012 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.
The purpose of the meeting is to authorize the signature of the contract for the Town Woods Maintenance Agreement.
Selectman Sibley moved to authorize First Selectwoman Reemsnyder to sign the contract on behalf of the Town of Old Lyme. Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion. DISCUSSION: First Selectwoman Reemsnyder had shared the contract with First Selectman Eno from Lyme and stated that he was happy with it. The addendums regarding applications were reviewed. The Selectmen would like the cost and schedule of string trimming, and weed maintenance added to the contract and a statement regarding changes being allowed to be made during the term of the contract. Selectman Sibley moved to amend the motion to state that he authorized First Selectwoman Reemsnyder to sign the contract on behalf of the Town of Old Lyme with language added concerning the cost and schedule of the string trimming and weeding, and
that change orders will be allowed during the term of the contract. Selectwoman Nosal seconded this motion. SO VOTED.
The original motion was voted on and passed.
Selectman Sibley moved to adjourn the special meeting at 7:49 AM. Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion. SO VOTED.
